Summer Clothing for Men

Linen for warm days

When it gets warm, the fabric matters more than anything else. Our summer clothing is made from linen from Somelos, a Portuguese linen producer. Linen breathes, absorbs moisture without feeling damp and gets softer with every wash.

Shirts

The long sleeve linen shirt has a straight regular fit, a button-down collar and a chest pocket, and comes in White, Black, Navy and Army Olive. The short sleeve version has a looser fit and comes in White, Black and Army Olive. Both have a rounded hem, so they work tucked in or worn loose.

Trousers and shorts

The linen trousers have wide straight legs and an elastic waist, and the linen shorts have straight legs and a relaxed fit. Both come in White, Black and Army Olive, so you can match them with a shirt in the same colour.

A small summer wardrobe

Every piece is designed to go with the others: one shirt and one pair of trousers or shorts already make two outfits. Add a t-shirt and a cap and you are set for the season. See the whole linen collection, or read about caring for linen.

Why is linen good in summer?

Linen breathes and absorbs moisture without feeling damp, so it stays comfortable even on hot days.

Does linen crease?

Yes. Pure linen creases naturally, and that is part of its character. A linen garment that does not crease almost always contains synthetic fibres.

Can I wear linen to a wedding?

Yes. A linen shirt with linen trousers in White, or Navy with Black, works for most summer weddings and dinners.

Does linen shrink?

Our linen is treated to minimise shrinkage. Wash at 30°C and hang to dry. More tips in our care guide.

Where is the linen from?
